Cervical cancer screening in Vietnam from scientific data to health policy

Whilst cervical cancer is a mostly preventable disease, it is currently one of the most frequent cancers that affect Vietnamese women. One risk factor (among others) leading to this status is the fact that women have not been systematically screened using an appropriate and easy-to-access screening test, and hence timely and effective treatment is delayed.
