Clinical mastitis gives off-flavor and reduces quality of milk in smallholder goat farms

The impact of subclinical mastitis on milk compositional and sensory quality was investigated in small holder farms in Kenya. A total of 80 udder quarters from 40 lactating Toggenburg dairy goats were collected and analyzed to assess the composition and component variation in subclinical mastitis infections.
