Current status and solutions to improve the quality of teaching English for tourism students in the digital transformation context: A case study

The research design was conducted using quantitative approaches. The major findings showed that the students’ proficiency in English did not satisfy the expectations of the stakeholders. Therefore, some practical solutions are given to improve the students’ level of use of English for tourism, including designing English tourism curriculum; building an e-learning system supports students’ self-studying; students’ opportunities to communicate in English, and the assessment processes; strengthen cooperation, learning and exchange with international enterprises.
