  4. Full-wave bridge rectifier Full-wave • Vi>0 => D2, D4 on; D1, D3 off • Vi D2, D4 off; D1, D3 on
  5. Full-wave rectifier with capacitor Full-wave • Vi>0 => D1 on, D2 off • Vi D1 off, D2 on
  6. Clipper Clipper • Parallel or serial • Serial: – Vi>V => Vi – V > 0 => D on => Vo=Vi-V – Vi Vi – V < 0 => D off => Vo=0
  7. Clipper Clipper • Parallel with additional source – Vi>4V => D off => Vo = Vi – Vi D on => Vo = 4V
