Diversity studies in yellow pericarp sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] genotypes for yield attributes

An experiment was conducted at ARS, Madhira during early rabi 2016 with 40 yellow pericarp sorghum genotypes obtained from ICRISAT for diversity analysis. The genotypes were grouped into three clusters based on their similar performance of the trait under study. Plant height contributed the maximum (54.74%) towards genetic diversity followed by leaf length (29.23%), straw weight (7.56%) and 100 seed weight (5.90%).
