Efficient conjugation of aflatoxin B1 with bovine serum albumin for the development of aflatoxin B1 quick test

Among several methods to detect the toxic and cancerous aflatoxins in agricultural products used in foods and animal feeds, only the lateral flow immunodipstick method is suitable for field usage. The aim of this study is to determine optimal conditions for the conjugation of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) to develop a lateral flow immunoassay test strip for detection of AFB1.
