As a third-generation organic light-emitting material, thermally activated delayed fluorescence can achieve nearly 100% excitant utilization by reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) from the lowest triplet (T1) to the lowest singlet (S1) state, resulting in nearly 100% internal quantum efficiency (IQE).
