Fecundity and preferential oviposition of pulse beetle, Callosobruchus chinensis (L.) on different interspecific progenies of Mungbean

This study was conducted to screening the resistance/tolerance of 10 interspecific progenies of mungbean against pulse beetle. The cultivars with small, rough, wrinkled, hard and thick seed coat were more resistant compared to those having smooth, soft and thin seed coat.
