Genetic transformation in aromatic Indica rices mediated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens

Aromatic rice is profitable farming venture and having high consumer demand. The main concerns about aromatic rice are low yield and susceptibility to pests and diseases. A rapid and reproducible genetic transformation protocol was optimized for three aromatic rice varieties using the established plant regeneration protocol.
