Objectives: - To practice reading comprehension. - After the lesson, Ss will be able to use the dates in months and use it in the structures: My birthday is on .......... The party will be at ........ II. Preparation: - Material: Textbook, coursebook, sub – board. - Equipments: tape and cassette. III. Teaching procedure: 1. Organization: 2. Oral test: - S1 : Fill in and read aloud his own personal information in the registration form.
  2. - S2 & S3 : Read the dialogue aloud. 3. New lesson: A. Warm- up: - Give a game: Lucky numbers: 1. Where does Hoa live? 2. Lucky number. 3. How old is Hoa? 4. Which class is she in? 5. Lucky number. 6. Who does she live with? 7. When is Hoa’s birthday? 8. Lucky number. B. Presentation: a, Read. Then complete the card: * Pre- reading - Ss: look at the picture and answer the questions: 1. What are they doing in the picture? 2. What is Lan doing?
  3. - T: explains what Ss are supposed to do . - T: asks Ss to guess what information they will fill in Lan’s invitation card . - T: writes Ss’predictions on the BB . * While- reading - Ss: read the passage silently and check their prediction. - T: calls some Ss to give the answers. - Others can make any correction or addition . - T: corrects if necessary .
