Haemophilic arthropathy is a chronic and debilitating joint disease caused by recurrent spontaneous joint bleeds in patients with haemophilia. Understanding how characteristics of individual joint bleeds relate to the subsequent development of arthropathy could improve management and prevention of this joint disease.
