In-vivo hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic properties of Tagetes lucida alcoholic extract in streptozotocin-induced hyperglycemic Wistar albino rats

Anti-oxidative stress characters of extract was evaluated in liver and kidney antioxidant enzyme activities; catalase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione reductase, glutathione-S-transferase and glutathione peroxidase which were magnified in parallel with remarkable elevation on glutathione concentration comparable with diabetic control.
