Insect pests of tomato and their weather relations under open and cover cultivation

Tomato is most popular and widely grown vegetable in the world and suffering from both biotic and abiotic stresses. Aphis gossypii, Bemisia tabaci, Thrips tabaci, Liriomyza trifolii, Spodoptera liura and Helicoverpa armigera are the major important insects and causing severe losses under favorable weather condition. The proposed research study was conducted during 2016-17 at Central Research Farm, BCKV.
