The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the aspects of connected speech instruction on the first year English-major students ‟perception and production at School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University. It also evaluated students" awareness of the aspects of connected speech and revised the necessary theory about connected speech.
