Numerical investigation effect of shallow water on ship resistance using rans method

This paper is aimed to predict ship resistance in shallow water by using commercial unsteady Reynolds– Averaged Navier – Stokes (RANS) solver. Volume of fluid (VOF) was applied for simulation of free surface flow around the ship. A comparison in the resistance on the hull is illustrated between shallow water and deep water.
