Ortner’s syndrome in an infant with congenital heart disease

Cardio-vocal or Ortner’s syndrome is dysphonia or hoarseness resulting from left recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy caused by a mechanical effect on the nerve due to enlarged cardiovascular or mediastinal structures.
