On EVERY WRONG SIDE row start with P2, YO, P1 and end with P1, YO, P2 These increases will give you the elongated triangle shape Use lots of stitch markers to help you Falling Leaves keep track of the sections of 12 for the By Missy Westgate pattern After you get 12 stitches in the increase areas, start new leaf section, this new section will start from the row in the chart the rest of the shawl is at. Now it is time to cast on: Cast on 18 stitches Row 1: Knit Row 2: Purl Row 3: K2, YO, K1, place marker, K first 12 stitches from chart, place marker, K1, YO, K2. Row 4: P2, YO, P1, place marker, P1, marker, 2nd row of chart, marker, P1, place marker, P1, YO, P2. Continue with shaping and charts until there are 12 more stitches between the first set of markers. This will become the next section of leaf.
