Periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) leaves and lemongrass (Cympoogon citratus): An analysis of their nutritional composition, anti-nutritional factors and antioxidant content

The present study was carried out to analyze the nutritional and anti-nutritional composition and antioxidant content of the dehydrated periwinkle leaves and lemon grass, From proximate analysis it was found that dehydrated periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus) leaves and lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) are rich source of many nutrients. The moisture level of the dehydrated periwinkle and lemon grass leaves was found to be 8.71% and 8.56%.
