Preliminary characterization of residual char after gasification of rice straw

In this study, residual char from rice straw gasification in a commercial system was collected and analyzed to provide a basis for reutilization. Proximte and ultimate analysis revealed that the char from rice straw gasification has high ash content, but substantial carbon content remains.
