Post-operative wound infection is an important cause of morbidity and cost burden for the patients. Surveillance of these data is an important foundation of effective infection control programs. To determine the prevalence of MRSA among Staphylococcus aureus isolates. A prospective study done in a trust hospital in 2015 for about a year. A total number of 86 isolates were obtained from 120 wound swabs.
