Promoting trade contributes to economic recovery and development

Trade has played a crucial role in economic growth and enhancing Vietnam’s global competitiveness through diversifying the supply source and expanding consumer markets. However, recently, Vietnam’s import-export structure has shown signs of instability and dependence on external factors. Therefore, it is necessary to reassess the current trade situation in Vietnam. Based on the latest research data, this article will shed light on the industrialization status and comparative advantages of Vietnam’s economy in two main aspects: the level of technology embedded in Vietnam’s exports and imports, and the value added of export items and their relationship with trading partners.
