Quantification of microbiological and physico-chemical variables during the purification of the wastewater from the yaounde slaughterhouse and the receiving river system

A study was carried out from December 2016 to February 2017 with the aim of evaluating the effects of some coagulants (Aluminium sulphate, Moringa, Starch) on the effluent discharge of the Etoudi slaughterhouse and the Ako’o River which receives these waste products. Monthly water samples surveys were carried out on these two zones and physico-chemical analysis were done following the recommendations of Rodier and his collaborators.
