Rare variant of HSPG2 is not involved in the development of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis: Evidence from a large-scale replication study

Rare variants of HSPG2 have recently been reported to function as a potential contributor to the susceptibility of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) in the Caucasians. A replication study in the different population is warranted to validate the role of HSPG2 in AIS.
