Cytoskeleton-related proteins are essential for cell shape maintenance and cytoskeleton remodeling. The spermatozoa of Eriocheir sinensis (Chinese mitten crab) have a unique cellular structure, and the mechanism of spermatozoal metamorphosis during the acrosome reaction is not well understood.
