Soil morphological properties and classification of hebbalagere micro watershed in Channagiri Taluk, Davanagere district of Karnataka, India

A study was undertaken to characterize and classify the soils of Hebbalagere micro watershed in Channagiri taluk, Davanagere district of Karnataka. Eleven profiles were studied for the morphological features based on soil heterogeneity. The detailed morphological descriptions of the pedons were done in the field as per the procedure outlined in Soil Survey Manual.
