Bacterial blight is one of the most important disease of Pomegranate caused by bacterium Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. punicae (Xap). The disease is characterized by small, irregular, translucent, water soaked spots with light to dark necrotic centre surrounded by prominent yellow margin on leaves.
