Study of efflux genes in E. coli isolated from community acquired urinary tract infections

The present study mainly aimed to study the prevalence of antibiotics resistance among E. coli isolated from community acquired urinary tract infections (UTIs) and to determine the prevalence of AcrA/B and tolC efflux genes among the isolated E. coli. The study was a cross-sectional study that included 100 E. coli strains isolated from patients with community acquired UTIs.
