Study of hand grip strength of rural and urban household performing house hold work

Women are the back bone of household activities. They spend daily almost 13-14 hours on household work and caring the family members. The household activities consists of cooking, washing clothes, washing utensils and mopping the floor. The rural women even carry out farm work (sowing, Transplanting, harvesting and Threshing) while urban women are not involved in farm work. However no matter how much they do and how much time they spent in performing, these activities, it will go un-noticed because of its non-economic value. But the drudgery involved in performing these activities are very high.
