Syphilis in a mining region of the brazilian amazon: Prevalence and characteristics

Considering the importance and need of clinical and epidemiological data on syphilis, specially from vulnerable settings such as observed in Itaituba city, the present study aimed to investigate the prevalence and characteristics associated with syphilis in the mining region of the Brazilian Amazon.
