The contribution of obesity to alterations in atherogenic lipids in cameroon children

Obesity among children is rising steadily in Cameroon and its association with dyslipidemia and consequently cardiovascular risk has become a concern for medical researchers. This study aims at determining the prevalence of dyslipidemia and also quantifying the effects of obesity assessed using BMI, waist circumference (WC) and waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) on changes in atherogenic lipid levels in children.
