The impact of budget allocation on sustainable development towards poverty reduction: Case of provinces in Vietnam

This research was conducted to evaluate the impact of budget allocation on sustainable development towards poverty reduction at the provincial level in Vietnam in the period of 2016-2020. The empirical results show that the provincial budget expenditures and the fiscal capacity of provincial governments have positive impacts on poverty reduction but provincial budget expenditures have stronger impact than the fiscal capacity.
