The impact of educational games on teaching and learning English

To be a proficient English language user, learners have adopted many methods during their learning process. Among many English learning methods, game-based learning (GBL) has been proven as an effective way which brings both knowledge and entertainment to the language class. Therefore, this paper aims to analyse the benefits of GBL in academic writing and give further teaching implications for educators and students.
