The relationship between learning styles of pre service music teachers and academic achievement

The present study aims to determine learning styles of students majoring in Music Education Departments in Turkey and thus develop scale on learning styles to be used in piano lessons. Moreover, it is intended to reveal the relationship betwee n students’ learning styles identified by the developed scale and their academic performance in piano lessons.
