Water reclamation from primary municipal wastewater treatment plant effluent by membrane distillation

In this study, to fulfill the aforementioned objectives, MD treatments of actual primary MWWTP effluents were carried out. The effects of some pretreatments such as glass microfiber filtration and feed chlorination on the permeate flux and generated water quality were investigated.
