Window-based alternative filters for f-OFDM in next generation wireless communication systems

In this paper, the authors propose alternative filters to improve the spectral properties of the filtered orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (filtered-OFDM) candidate waveform for new wireless systems (fifth generation (5G) and next generation).
