Gobies are dominant in terms of both species diversity and abundance in estuarine habitats, but little is known about their early developmental stages in the coastal waters of Vietnam. To examine species diversity of goby larvae and juveniles, monthly collections were carried out using a small seine net from the Ka Long estuary in the northernmost Vietnamese coast, from September 2014 to August 2015.

Boops boops sexuality was studied in 664 females, 201 males, and 103 hermaphrodites collected from central Algerian coast ports between December 2013 and November 2014. Histoanatomical observations were performed to describe the sexual pattern of B. boops. Observation of the evolution of sexual maturity stages as well as the gonadosomatic report have established the breeding period of B. boops as between February and June. The B. boops population fished here is in favor of females, with a percentage of 76.76% against 23.34% for males.

Meyer separated Thlaspi into 12 genera, specifically using the seed-coat anatomy. Currently, only 4 species have been retained in Thlaspi s.str and all of the other species were divided into other genera, one of which was Thlaspiceras F.K.Mey. The plant materials used in this research were collected in Turkey between 2014 and 2016. Specimens were identified according to Meyer’s identification and named according to Meyer. A total of 12 inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) primers, with 52 reliable polymorphic bands, were used in the cluster analyses.

In developing countries, Occupation health and safety is not given priority. The Needle stick Injuries (NSI) are among the incidents which risk the safety of Health Care workers in the hospital and healthcare setup. The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of NSI’s in a tertiary care teaching hospital. A total of 70 NSI’s were reported and studied from January to December 2014. Needle stick injuries were more common among doctors and nurses and majority of the NSI’s were reported during blood collection (27%) followed by invasive procedures (21%).

This paper examines the trends in rice and maize productivity growth in Andhra Pradesh. A nonparametric data envelopment analysis (DEA) programming method is used to compute Malmquist productivity indices. For study, time-series data on cost of cultivation of selected crops were collected from the reports of Commission on Agricultural Costs and Prices for the period 1996-97 to 2014-15. The results revealed that the decomposition of the TFPch for the corresponding years into EFFch and TECHch revealed that 48.8 per cent increase in TFPch was due to improvement in the technology used.

The GKVK campus is located in the northern part of Bangalore, Karnataka (India) comprising 1380 acres land area receives ~994.5 mm average rain fall and receives fairly good rain during monsoon. The climatic condition and soil are congenial for growth and development of different species of mushrooms. A variety of mushrooms belong edible, poisonous and medicinal species can be seen during rainy season. In this study, twenty one different mushroom species were collected during rainy season (July to October, 2014) and identified by Internal Transcribed Sequence (ITS) homology.

Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is chronic inflammation of middle ear and mastoid cavity with recurrent ear discharge lasting for more than 6months. Studies are mainly done on the bacterial aetiology of CSOM, but very little is known about the fungal aspects of such cases. Otomycosis is increasing in the recent years because of the indiscriminate use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, corticosteroids, and an increase in the number of immune deficiency disorders.

Time series prediction is a vital problem in many applications in nature science, agriculture, engineering and economics. The objective of the study is to examine the flexibility of artificial neural network model (ANN) in time series forecasting by comparing with classical time series ARIMA model. The data consist of area and production of Pearl millet (bajra) crop area („000 ha) and production („000 MT) from 1955-56 to 2014-15 were collected from “Agricultural Statistics at a Glance 2014-15, Karnataka, India were used in the study to demonstrate the effectiveness of the model.

To Lich River is well-known as a main drainage river and plays a vital role to the landscape distribution of Ha Noi city, which is currently polluted due to improperly untreated wastewater flow. Thanks to QUAL2K model, the variation of the river water quality has been forecasted by 4 particular scenarios. In the first scenario, the whole generated wastewater along To Lich River is not totally collected and treated. Scenario 2 is similar to scenario 1 except that To Lich River receives an addition of diluted water of 5 m 3 /s from Red River.

In water resource management the main basic requirement is the estimation of runoff resulted from precipitation. In present study, runoff from Chaskaman catchment estimated using different empirical methods such as Inglis and DeSouza formula, Khosla’s formula, Coutagine relationship, Department of irrigation India, and Strange’s table method. Hydrological data such as observed daily runoff of 15 years (2000-2014) was collected from Superintending Engineer, Department of Irrigation, Government of Maharashtra, Pune.

Channa punctatus is one of the most delicious and demandable freshwater fishes of the country because of its high nutritional value, cheap cost and availability in the local markets. These fishes are often infected by parasites, which decrease the rate of growth as well as the reproduction rate of the host fishes, resulting in deteriorating the food value of fishes and economic loss to the culturists. Study of parasites is therefore an urgent necessity today.

A Study was undertaken to evaluate the fertility status of Nignoti village, Indore district, Madhya Pradesh covering a village during 2013-2014. The systematic collection of samples in geo–referenced surface (0-15cm) soils was done from 250 sites representing Vertisols and associated soils. Proteus species are among the commonly implicated pathogens in hospital as well as community acquired infections. They cause nosocomial sinusitis, intra-abdominal abscesses, biliary tract infection, surgical site infection, soft tissue infection and osteomyelitis.
