Considerations for developing, adapting or implementing access and benefit-sharing measures for genetic resources for food and agriculture The overall objective of this document is to assist governments considering developing, adapting or implementing legislative, administrative or policy measures for ABS to take into account the importance of GRFA, their special role for food security and the distinctive features of the different subsectors of GRFA, while complying, as applicable, with international ABS instruments.

Michael addition reaction of the 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole to chalcone as biselectrophile afforded 5,7-diphenyl-6-[1,3-diphenylpropan-1-on-3-yl][1,3,4]thiadiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine (3) instead of 5,7-diphenyl-5H-[1,3,4]thiadiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine (5) via further Michael addition at C5 in pyrimidine moiety. The structure 3 was established through the aspect of ab initio calculations, elemental analysis and spectral data.

Sulfur is the element with the largest number of solid allotropes. Most of these consist of unbranched cyclic molecules with ring sizes ranging from 6 to 20. In addition, polymeric allotropes are known which are believed to consist of chains in a random coil or helical conformation. Furthermore, several high-pressure allotropes have been characterized. In this chapter the preparation, crystal structures, physical properties and analysis of these allotropes are discussed.
