This paper aims to propose a design of a type-2 fuzzy cerebellar model articulation controller for uncertain nonlinear systems, which achieves high stability and accuracy for controlling magnetic levitation systems. The proposed controller is a combination of a type 2 fuzzy logic system and a cerebellar model articulation controller.

In this thesis, focus on the wireless links between devices equipped by deployed operating personnel and intermediary access point infrastructure. We use multi-radio (MR) platforms, wireless devices with multiple and diverse transceiver technologies, to produce robust and reliable links through adaptive control of available transceivers. Primarily, we study the application of intelligent control techniques, namely reinforcement learning (RL), for adaptive control over diverse transceivers to achieve the desired robustness and reliability under dynamic environmental conditions.

The primary aim of this research was to further develop the sensing and estimation module of the CHMS framework with an improved multimodal inference model of MWL as needed for the application in aerospace CPHS. An efficient lighting system (Compact 3U) was successfully applied to the micropropagation of gloxinia and potato plants. To compare the in vitro growth of plantlets under Neon and Compact 3U lighting systems, gloxinia and potato shoots were cultured on suitable media at different light intensities: (1) 45 µmol m-2s -1 (under Neon lighting system as a control); (2) 45 µmol m-2s -1, (3) 60 µmol m-2s -1, and (4) 75 µmol m-2s -1 (under Compact 3U lighting systems).

This paper proposes a fuzzy adaptive second order sliding mode controller for 2D overhead crane model to improve the quality of position tracking, anti-swing in case existence of external disturbances. The sliding surface parameters are adjusted by a fuzzy logic system to change the sliding surface in order to track faster and make the payload oscillation smaller. The simulation results show that the system quality is improved and the applicability of the proposed controller in industrial practice.
