In ebook "Low-frequency vibrations of inorganic and coordination compounds" organometallic compounds have been neglected since the author feels that adequate reviews of that subject are available. Other studies may be missing simply because, owing to space limitations, only the more important researches could be considered. Of course, "importance" may, in this case, reflect the author's interest and prejudices.

Adequate and appropriate complementary feeding during 6-23 months-of-age, is fundamental to the development of each child’s full human potential. Ethiopian national survey reports showed the minimum acceptable diet was 4.2% in same region. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of appropriate complementary feeding practices and associated factors among mothers having 6 - 23 months of age children in Northern Ethiopia.

A loss of adequate Situation Awareness (SA) may play a major role in the genesis of critical incidents in anesthesia and critical care. This observational study aimed to determine the frequency of SA errors in cases of a critical incident reporting system (CIRS).

There is little evidence about the lived experience of older people who have completed a falls prevention exercise programme and their life beyond their intervention. Despite good intentions and perceived benefits, on-going participation in falls prevention exercises beyond a structured, supervised intervention was not a priority for these older people.

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) disability is a common health burden in aging populations. The identification of high-risk individuals is essential for timely targeted interventions. Although predictors for IADL disability have been well described, studies constructing prediction tools for IADL disability among older adults were not adequately explored.

High frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) is an open ventilating technique to maintain ventilation for emergency or difficult airway. However, whether jet ventilation or conventional oxygen therapy (COT) is more effective and safe in maintaining adequate oxygenation, is unclear among patients with airway stenosis during bronchoscopic intervention (BI) under deep sedation.

The second objective of governor adjustment is twofold: to adjust the governor to optimize performance within the power system and to optimize the governor’s ability to carry an isolated load. Most governor manufacturer’s literature provides a procedure for adjusting the governor. These procedures usually require making adjustments to minimize visible “hunting” by the governor.

Parsing systems which rely on hand-coded linguistic descriptions can only perform adequately in as far as these descriptions are correct and complete. The paper describes an error mining technique to discover problems in hand-coded linguistic descriptions for parsing such as grammars and lexicons. By analysing parse results for very large unannotated corpora, the technique discovers missing, incorrect or incomplete linguistic descriptions. The technique uses the frequency of n-grams of words for arbitrary values of n.

Often communities have to deal with local political considerations when they plan events. No specific advice can be given to the promoter except to warn him or her that political considerations are always important to the local community. Often a way to encourage elected political officials to support an event is to show the monetary or quality-of-life impact that a successful event would have on their communities or careers. Explaining the positive impact encourages officials to support the public safety coordinators by providing adequate local resources and funding. ...

Asymmetric and flawed incentives that favor risk hiding in the tails. There were three primary flaws in the compensation methods that led to artificial earnings and not adequately and appropriately risk-adjusted compensation. They are a) asymmetric payoff: upside, limited, or no economic downside (a free or underpriced option); b) flawed frequency: annual compensation for risks that blow-up every few years, with absence of claw-back provisions; and c) misattribution: compensation for returns that are an attribute of the market (e.g.

Minimizing the frequency and consequences of iatrogenic infections depends on improving the quality and accessibility of good medical services. Unlike STIs, which rely primarily on behavior change for their prevention, avoiding iatrogenic infections centers on maximizing access to good quality care, and in particular the technical competence of health care providers. It also requires resources and supportive public policy measures and encouragement of prompt health care seeking behavior by individuals.

Our econometric investigation is based on two different complementary (weekly and monthly) datasets, respectively from 7 June 2005 to 21 October 2008, and from January 1996 to December 2007. There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, we think that weekly data may adequately capture the interaction of oil and stock prices in the region better than any other data frequency. However, our weekly data set, which deals with all the six GCC countries, only includes less than four years of data, which can be considered as too short to test for causality....
