Debuting sexual intercourse marks exposure to pregnancy or fatherhood and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. In sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), sexual debut varies according to cultural, religious, and economic factors, and encouraging delay has been a longstanding component of behavioural HIV prevention strategies.

The first documented HIV infection was among sex worker in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in 1986. And now India has the greatest number of HIV infections in Asia and the second highest total number of infected persons globally. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of HIV/AIDS among general population in Udaipur zone and also determine sex ratio and age group in which HIV infection is more. A hospital based observational study was conducted on data of samples received from feburary 2016 to September 2016.

Marriage is an important personal and social affair. A qualitative research was conducted to study attitude of present generation towards marriage.Sample size was 51. There was the use of triangulation of data and methods. When the study was carried out first, the qualitative data were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed manually in the interpretive-thematic analysis framework. Data saturated after 16 persons of marriageable age, those between 18 and 35, were interviewed.Some were interviewed twice or thrice.

This study attempts to examine trends in incidence of sexual experience, age at first sex, number of life-time sex partners, multiple sex partners in last 12 months, relationship with last sex partner, and use of condom at last sex if last sex partner was other than spouse or nonlive-in-partner among Nepalese youth over time 2006-2016. This study has used 2006, 2011 and 2016 Nepal Demographic and Health Survey data files with weighted cases.

The aims of this study were to provide life expectancy (LE) estimates of cancer patients at diagnosis and LE changes over time since diagnosis to describe the impact of cancer during patients’ entire lives. Cancer patients’ LE was calculated by standard period life table methodology using the relative survival of Italian patients diagnosed in population-based cancer registries in 1985–2011 with follow-up to 2013.

Risk of hospitalized infections under biologics among patients suffering from chronic inflammatory autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), psoriatic arthritis (PSA), or psoriasis was investigated using administrative data. The hospital discharge records database, the medical prescription database, and the database of exemptions from medical charges were linked at the individual patient level.
