In food animal agriculture, there is a need to identify the mechanisms that can improve the efficiency of muscle growth and protein accretion. Callipyge sheep provide excellent machinery since the up-regulation of DLK1 and RTL1 results in extreme postnatal muscle hypertrophy in distinct muscles. The aim of this study is to distinguish the genes that directly respond to DLK1 and RTL1 signaling from the genes that change as the result of muscle specific effects.

The constraint of labour shortage resulted in modern heavy machineries which form a hard pan on agricultural field. A subsoiler plough is famous for breaking hardpan and working at higher depths. On overview of effects of subsoiler on field is studied. The subsoiler has better performance on improving soil properties such as bulk density, porosity, strength and infiltration rates. The subsoiling also has its effects on root system of plants positively. The crop yields were seen positive or no correlation on subsoiling.

The use of resource management technologies such as zero tillage, which can affect the soil properties, can restore soil health that is degrading at a rapid pace due to intensive agriculture, inefficient and imbalanced use of fertilisers, high-yielding crops, the use of heavy machinery, excessive tillage, etc. The health of the soil can be measured by the capacity of microorganisms that can act as early warning signals. The effect of operational parameters on selected tillage tools or tines were studied by using instrumented soilbin at Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering, Raichur (Karnataka). The experiment was conducted in sandy clay loam soil to study the effect of variation of forward speed (3, 4 and 5 km/h), operating depth (5, 10 and 15 cm) and type of tools (Sweep-1, Sweep-2 and Shovel-1) on draft, specific draft, soil disturbance parameters and tool width to furrow width ratio. The test was conducted in a 21 m long, 2 m wide and 1 m deep soilbin.

The present study was conducted during Totagarike Mela of University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot organized for three days from 19th to 21 st December, 2015. About 500 participants of Totagarike Mela were randomly contacted with the help of structured schedule for eliciting the information by personal interview method. The data was analyzed using frequency and percentage.

The study was confined to Chhattisgarh plains of 5 districts in 15 KYSK. There were 138 farmers studied those bringing the services of owners of KYSK. The sampled owners of KYSK reported that 100 per-cent demand of 60 per-cent farmers whereas demand for harvesting, threshing and winnowing of machinery was 66% that reported by almost owner of KYSK.

Conservation Agriculture (CA) enhances productivity and maintains the environmental safety and ecological sustainability. According to majority of the respondents, inadequate knowledge on CA as a package was perceived to be the major constraint in adoption of CA. Biophysical constraints predominantly included uncertain monsoon and lack of availability of labour. Technological constraints such as non-availability of desired CA technologies and machineries and policy constraints such as lack of priority, promotion and incentives for adoption were also considered as major constraints.

The present study was conducted in Krishi Vigyan Kendras operational area of Amreli district. Out of 11 talukas, 5 talukas selected randomly. Out of 5 selected talukas, 2 villages will be selected from each taluka randomly 5 villages selected. Among selected villages, 10 Farmers from each village were selected for the study. Thus, total 100 respondents were selected for this study.
