Market mechanism of agricultural products which is currently applied is based on green economy. Green economy is also1 run in a farm of Aloe Vera in Pontianak, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze performance factors of Aloe Vera’s value chain as a green product. Value chain is analyzed using SEM analysis (Structural Equation Modelling).

In this paper, the authors considered theoretical approaches to family farming as a special form of social-and-economic organization, which is the most reliable mechanism for mass recruitment of rural population into the economy and optimization of material and information flows, cooperative ties of value creating participants in order to satisfy consumers in comparison with large agricultural holdings. The US experience indicates the possibility of harmonious combination of developed industry and commodity family farms in economic complexes.

The article discusses the implementation of strategic planning in the agricultural sector. Cherry laurel is one of the most important cherry species and naturally grown in Black sea region in Turkey. Its fruits are sold at high price in local markets in northern parts of Turkey. Cherry laurel fruits are very perishable with a limited shelf life due to a high metabolic activity and susceptibility to mechanical damage and microbial attack. The effect of edible coatings (EC) based on caseinat, Semperfresh and lecithin on the fruit quality, bioactive content and antioxidant activity of cherry laurel fruits stored at 4 ± 1 °C for 15 days was evaluated.

"Evaluation of gene expression levels in grapevine cultivars after Erysphe necator and methyl jasmonate treatments" analyses concluded that the susceptible and tolerant cultivars utilized different mechanisms and that TF genes were induced in the presence of PM and MeJa. It was determined that PM showed different levels of expression in 3 genes and 4 cultivars. MeJa treatment had a stimulating effect on the response to E. necator infection.

In the present study, the physiological changes in aged cress seeds and seeds imbibed under different temperatures after aging were examined. In this regard, an array of analysis concerned with the cell membrane leakages and seed viability was performed. For comparison, accelerated aged seed lots with high, intermediate and low viability were used, in relation to the control (not subjected to short-term imbibitions).
