This study investigated the perception of students of English at Can Tho University (CTU) in learning literature in English. The study also sought teachers’ opinions and recommendations for more effective literary learning. Seventy-nine students and two teachers teaching literature were invited to participate in the study.

There are over 363 customized risk models of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) pooled cohort equations (PCE) in the literature, but their gains in clinical utility are rarely evaluated. We build new risk models for patients with specific comorbidities and geographic locations and evaluate whether performance improvements translate to gains in clinical utility.

We assessed the prevalence of AATA in a Latin American cohort using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and compared these with other studies reported in the literature.

This study focuses on designing exercises that help students overcome those barriers to improve their ability in translating English metaphorical expression. The results show that the students appreciated these exercises and, at the same time, the test results of the experimental group were higher than the control group.

It is implied from the study’s findings that the critical thinking framework used in this study can be used as a reference tool to develop and assess critical thinking or to design teaching contents with the integration of critical thinking. Reflective journal writing activity can be widely used in EFL content classes, in general, and in EFL literature classes, in particular, to promote students’ critical thinking.
