The present study is aimed on isolation of OxO enzyme from Pseudomonas strain under high salt stress. The OxO enzyme was produced in bulk under selected salt stress. It was partially purified by ammonium sulphate precipitation method, dialysis and ion-exchange chromatography. The OxO enzyme on enzymatic analysis showed potent activity concerning oxalic acid substrate. The microtiter plate analysis confirmed the ability of OxO enzyme purified from Pseudomonas strain in the diagnosis of oxalate-related disorders and in the future could be used to prepare the diagnostic biosensors

Wool has disulphide bonds containing-hydrophobic external keratin layers, which act as a barrier for the modification through coating with hydrophilic materials. For that reason, in this work, to ensure a dense and homogenous conductive polymer coating onto the wool, the fabrics were subjected to the reduction process in the aqueous alkaline medium containing agents that can attack these disulphide bonds. Then, one of the polyaniline derivatives, poly(mtoluidine) (PMT), was coated onto wool by in situ polymerization of m-toluidine sulphate using ammonium persulfate (APS) as an oxidant.

Effect of foliar spray of various nutrients on yield attributes, yield and economics of rainfed rice
A recent trend in the fertilizer industry to shift from ammonium sulphate to urea and from superphosphate to non-sulphur phosphatic fertilizer may induce more widespread sulphur deficiency in lowland rice. Keeping all above facts in view the present study was undertaken to find out the nutrient economy through foliar application of fertilizer and to assess the economic feasibility of various treatments.

Mycelial growth and exopolysaccharide production of Fomitopsis feei was studied in common production medium by changing different physiological parameters such as carbon, nitrogen sources, inoculum size, incubation time, pH, temperature, agitation. Glucose, ammonium sulphate, 6mm of inoculum, 8th and 14th days of incubation, pH 3, 30°C temperature and 150 rpm agitation were the best for the production of mycelium.

The aim of the present study was to optimize a process for production enzyme Laccase via microbial fermentation using peels of Ash Gourd. It is rich in various nutritional substances which are required for culture of microorganisms.. By estimating proximate values of various substances a synthetic media was prepared for Trichoderma Viride. Laccases were collected extra and intracellular level. The enzyme activity, growth was observed which were treated in various conditions and purified via various steps i.e. Ammonium Sulphate and dialysis.

A field experiment was carried out during the Kharif season of 2015, with the objective to study the effect of different sources and levels of sulphur application on nutrient composition of aerobic rice (Oryza sativa L.) cv. Rashi. In the effect among sources of sulphur, Ammonium sulphate had a significant influence and relatively better than other sources. As regards to levels the highest nutrient composition of aerobic rice were recorded with highest level of sulphur application @ 26 kg ha-1 .

A lab experiment was conducted at the department of microbiology, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & technology, Pantnagar. MPS activities were measured in liquid media (NBRIP broth) using Ammonium sulphate as N source, glucose and maltose as a carbon source at 10oC. Glucose significantly increased MPS activity and this activity was three times (3610.12PPM) in comparison of maltose (1434.99PPM). The mineral phosphate solubilizing activity was strongly associated with the production of gluconic or citric acids.

Rhamosidase producing yeast strain 84 was isolated from whey beverage and identified as Clavispara lusitaniae KF633446. The effect of different carbon sources (rhamnose, glycerol, lactose, fructose, glucose and sucrose), nitrogen sources (yeast extract, peptone, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulphate, urea and casein), temperature (10-60°C) and pH (3-8) were studied to optimize the production of rhamnosidase enzyme from Clavispara lusitaniae 84. Further, a multivariate response surface methodology evaluated the effects of different factors on enzyme activity and optimized enzyme production.

Purified viral protein was obtained from Potato virus Y (PVY) pure culture maintained on potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) plants. The average concentration of the purified materials was found to be 153.1 ng/µl. PVY purified virus preparation was used for immunizing rabbit for production of polyclonal antisera against the virus. Good quality antisera were collected one week post boosters (AS4b, AS5b, AS6b and AS7b) and the IgG fractions were separated through ammonium sulphate precipitation.

Acidic and alkaline proteases from visceral waste of Labeo rohita (Hamilton, 1822) were isolated, partially purified by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by dialysis, their kinetics and characteristics studied. The purification fold increased from 1.24 to 2.49 and 1.19 to 1.55 in acidic and alkaline protease respectively along the purification steps.

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of different sources and graded levels of sulphur on growth, yield attributes and yield of bellary onion at National Institute for Abiotic Stress Management, Malegaon Khurd, Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. The treatments comprised of three sources of sulphur (Elemental sulphur- Bentonite clay, Potassium schoenite and ammonium sulphate) with graded levels of sulphur viz., 0, 30, 45 and 60 kg S ha-1 . The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with four replications.
