Anodic stripping voltammetry

In this work, the electrochemical behavior of lead has been investigated with sensitive, fast and simple different pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) method. This preliminary work is an initial step toward the fabricating one type of electrochemical sensors used for sensitive determination of Pb (II) at trace concentration.

In the present study, CoFe2 O4 /reduced graphene oxide (CoFe2 O4 /rGO) has been synthesized. The morphology and structure of nanocomposites CoFe2 O4 /rGO were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Energy Dispersive X-Ray spectrometer (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).

Herein, an adsorptive stripping linear sweep voltammetric technique was described to determine spiramycin, a macrolide antibiotic, using a carboxylic multiwalled glassy carbon electrode modified with carbon nanotubes. The main principle of the analytical methodology proposed was based on the preconcentration of spiramycin by open-circuit accumulation of the macrolide onto the modified electrode surface. As a result of the adsorption affinity of spiramycin to the modified surface, the sensitivity of the glassy carbon electrode was significantly increased for the determination of spiramycin.

The simultaneous determination of Zn2+, Cd2+, Cu2+, Pb2+ in acid mine drainage (AMD) by differential pulse-anodic stripping voltammetrics (DPASV) with high sensitivity, selectivity, and accuracy is difficult because of many influential factors in the waste-water. This paper presents the results of studying supporting electrolyte for simultaneous determination of these ions in AMD in Mao Khe, Quang Ninh province to serve the wastewater treatment process.

A new procedure is presented for the determination of low concentrations of lead and cadmium in water samples. Ligand assisted pseudo-stir bar hollow fiber solid/liquid phase microextraction using sol–gel sorbent reinforced with carbon nanotubes was combined with differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry for simultaneous determination of cadmium and lead in tap water, and Darongar river water samples.

Bismuth film electrode (BiFE) of less environmentally concern was developed to determine blood lead by differential pulse - anodic stripping voltammetry (DP-ASV). The lead determination gained high precision (RSD < 4.5%, n = 2) and low detection limit (0.7 ppb), that were not worse than those on mercury film electrode (MFE). The acurracy of the lead dertermination (recovery 98 – 100.6%) was good agreement with GF-AAS determination (p > 0.05).
