Osteochondromas are the most common benign bone tumors occurring near the end of long bones. In this case report, we demonstrate the successful treatment of a proximal femoral osteochondroma in a pediatric patient excised through a dual medial and anterior approach with no hip dislocation.

Femoral neck fracture combined with anterior dislocation of the femoral head is very rare. To our knowledge, there is no classifcation system yet for this rare form of injury, and the injury mechanism of femoral neck fracture combined with obturator head dislocation has not been described in the literature.

Anterior shoulder dislocation remains a clinical challenge. This study aimed to assess the graft position and clinical outcomes of the arthroscopic Latarjet procedure and capsular repair for the treatment of recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation with significant glenoid bone loss in 37 patients. Between 2017 and 2017, 37 patients underwent arthroscopic Latarjet plus capsular repair procedure for recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation combined with significant glenoid bone loss.

Treatment of atlantoaxial dislocation is aimed at reduction and stabilization of the atlantoaxial joint. 3D printing refers to a process where additive manufacturing is achieved under precise computer control. Literature on its utilization in anterior atlantoaxial fixation and fusion is rare.

Glenohumeral instability is a common problem following traumatic anterior shoulder dislocation. Two major risk factors of recurrent instability are glenoid and Hill-Sachs bone loss. Higher failure rates of arthroscopic Bankart repairs are associated with larger degrees of bone loss; therefore it is important to accurately and reliably quantify glenohumeral bone loss pre-operatively.

: The shoulder is the least constrained of all joints of the body and is more susceptible to injury including dislocation. The rate of recurrent instability following primary stabilization procedure at 10 years of followup ranged from 3.4 to 20%.

An atypical case of a traumatic posterior C1-C2 dislocation with an anterior arch fracture of C1 is reported. A novel conservative treatment for this rare lesion is described. Case presentation: An eighty-nine-year-old male fell off a ladder at home and presented with an acute traumatic cervical spine trauma, which we believe involved a distraction mechanism. The patient was neurologically intact; he denied any weakness, numbness or paresthesia.

Patients with non-operated traumatic primary anterior shoulder dislocation (PASD) are assumed to have less shoulder impairment than patients with recurrent anterior shoulder dislocations (RASD). This may impact treatment decision strategy.

Surgical treatment of young patients with recurrent lateral patella dislocation (RLDP) is often recommended because of loss of knee function that compromises their level of activity or even their daily life functioning. This situation is comparable to young patients with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture

Large, displaced anterior glenoid rim fractures after primary traumatic anterior shoulder dislocation are usually managed by surgical stabilization. Although there is little evidence supporting surgical management, it is often preferred over non-operative treatment.

Iliopsoas impingement is a complication of total hip arthroplasty that often manifests as groin pain during initial hip flexion. However, there are no reports of mechanical complications after iliopsoas tenotomy following total hip arthroplasty (THA).

The revision surgery of basilar invagination (BI) with irreducible atlantoaxial dislocation (IAAD) after a previous occipitocervical fusion (OCF) is challenging. Transoral revision surgery has more advantages than a combined anterior and posterior approach in addressing this pathology.
