Anthropologic activities

This article clarifies the involvement of the Sino-Vietnamese people in Ho Chi Minh City’s economy from 1996 to 2016. Vietnam has accelerated the process of industrialization and modernization since 1996, and Ho Chi Minh City now has a thriving local economy. As with other ethnic groups, the Sino-Vietnamese people have made a considerable contribution to boosting the local economy.

This paper has attempted to define the terms urban, urbanism, cities and towns which are confusing terms however interrelated. An interdisciplinary approach has been adopted to achieve this objective. The towns are small in size, population along with development basis than cities. Earlier stage of towns or small towns was village. As a foundation, village was the original form of all. The cattle-keeping Nilotes need little introduction here. This essay focuses on the Nuer, Dinka, Atuot, and Mandari of the Southern Sudan, concerning each of whom there is a substantial and easily accessible literature, while making passing reference to the closely related Anuak of the Southern Sudan and the more distantly related Pokot and Maasai of East Africa. The Nuer and Dinka in particular are well known to all students of anthropology.[Note 1] What does perhaps require some explanation is their being taken together as ‘the cattle-keeping Nilotes’.
