The study focuses on analyzing the development strategies of certain Vietnamese apparel manufacturers leading to industrial upgrading in the textile value chain. To clarify the research objectives, the article uses the analytical framework of apparel value chain. On that basis, the author uses qualitative research methods to analyze and compare two Vietnamese enterprises with different development strategies to show the differences.

This paper attempts to describe the current situation of the textile and apparel enterprises in Vietnam in the urgent need of digital transformation that can help them to boost up their productivity and competitiveness. Furthermore, we introduce the solution of the cloud-ERP implementation with lower upfront operating costs and higher scalability that is flexible for Vietnam's textiles and apparel enterprises in their road towards digital transformation.

Supplier selection criteria are of importance in supplier selection because of their impact on the input materials and production progress of purchasers. However, there is a dearth of researches on a well-designed and validated questionnaire, from which practitioners or researchers are able to execute an official survey in large scope to assess supplier selection criteria for textile and apparel sector in general and for Vietnamese textile and apparel industry in particular.

The discussion of this study is followed by presenting the results of survey on the relationship of relational capability and organizational culture capability on supply chain operational performance. The results shown that the relationship between relational capability and organizational culture capability have significant impact on the performance of supply chain operation.

The objectives of the research "Fashion communication and ageist sentiment in the Australian fashion industry" were to firstly raise awareness of the issues confronting this mature consumer group and secondly challenge the conventional assumptions about the aesthetic viability of designing apparel for the mature women’s market. The project asked two research questions: What problems are associated with design for the mature women’s fashion market in Australia? How could fashion communication make a contribution to address those problems?
