The companies can evaluate operational efficiency and detect risks to warn businesses. In the introduction part, the article indicates the definition of SOEs. The second part of the article introduces the role of state-owned enterprises. This part is also a premise for the next part: the experiences of countries in the world including countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in operating and applying models that picture. The last part is the valuable things that Lao PDR can learn from the experiences of these countries.

The paper "The effect of economic openness and the role of fintech on financial development: The case in Vietnam" investigates the effect of economic openness and the role of financial technology on financial development in Vietnam. By applying the ARDL model with the data of 1995-2021 period, the results show that economic openness has a critical role to promote financial development, followed by the contribution of FDI both in short and long run term, while trade openness does not have a significant impact.

In this paper, we made the first attempt to analyze the impact of tariffs on Vietnam’s export of Mach and Elec products to partners within CPTPP. This study utilized a modified gravity model and simultaneous quantile regression to analyze Vietnam’s export turnover of machinery and electronic products to 10 CPTPP member countries from 2005 to 2020 on different quantiles of the export distribution.

The paper "Applying machine learning algorithms to classify forest cover type from sentinel 2 MSI data" presents the results of forest cover classification in Dak Lak province from Sentinel 2 optical satellite image data using machine learning techniques. Sentinel 2 MSI images taken in November 2015 and December 2020 are used to classify forest cover objects and then evaluate forest cover changes in the period 2015-2020.

This paper focuses on exploring the dynamic relationship between real estate prices, government budget, and economic growth in the case of an emerging economy. Using quarterly data covering in the period of Q1/2008 to Q4/2018 with approximately 44 observations and applying the Autoregressive Distribution Lagged (ARDL) approach, results reveal that, in both the short-run and long-run, economic growth is highly affected by fluctuations of the present, and past economic growth. Besides, there exists a long-run relationship between government budget and economic growth.
