Notably, as only a few studies have addressed the implication of ERP on OP in Arab countries such as in the Libyan context, it needs more investigation. The main objective to review and explore to which extent the Libyan public organizations are looking to improve their performance through the ERP system.

Very few data exist on the management of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in patients admitted to hospitals in the Gulf region. The objectives of this study were to describe treatment patterns for CAP in 38 hospitals in five Gulf countries (United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar) and to compare the findings to the most recent Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) / American Thoracic Society (ATS) guidelines.

Axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) is a relatively frequent and debilitating disease, with a prevalence ranging from 0.1 to 2% in the Caucasian population. Current Assessment of Spondyloarthritis International Society (ASAS) classification criteria of AxSpA rely either on sacroiliitis on imaging plus one SpA feature or positive HLAB27 antigen plus two SpA features, in a patient with chronic low back pain and age at onset of less than 45 years.

This paper aims at examining the impact of oil price on GCC countries’ stock market returns. We apply wavelet analysis model for examining the relationship between oil and stock market returns. Using monthly data from May 2005 to December 2011, our results suggest that not all stock market in GCC region have a positive relationship with oil price as some have, instead, negative relationship with oil price. Oil price has a negative relationship with Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

This article examines the effect of credit risk and its regulatory measures on accounting manipulation in 202 banks in the 10 MENA countries. Such a deviation from the regulatory requirements may lead managers to smooth the accounting net income, by applying the "fair full value" method as an accounting method. The number of Facebook users in all 22 Arab countries, in addition to Iran, Israel and Turkey, was collected periodically between April 5 and October 1, 2011, in the following age brackets—youth (15-29), and adults (30 and over). Raw data on for all Arab countries was collected and aggregated based on Facebook’s official data (Group A), excluding Syria, Sudan and Iran (Group B), for which data was extracted from a source other than Facebook. On a regional average, in countries that witnessed uprisings or popular movements - there are slight gender differences between men’s and women’s uses of social media during the “Arab spring” according to the survey respondents. While the top two uses of social media were for the purpose of raising awareness and spreading information about the events related to uprisings and revolutions, a slightly larger percentage of men than women used social media for these purposes.
